A love-hungry glow-worm has the last week of his life to find a partner in the dark, but the task becomes impossible when man wants to illuminate the night.
Perttu Inkilä is a Helsinki-based cinematographer and Metropolia graduate, who has directed and shot around 30 music videos and ten short films. The most recent of these is 1.5 meters of space directed by Vilja Autiokyrö, which was distributed in cinemas as the opening image for another documentary. For Inkila, filming is mainly about being inspired by light, observing it and modifying it. She is interested in the subconscious attunement that light and movement on the canvas awaken in us, not so much in information-based storytelling.
Pystynen has studied lighting design in Tampere University of Applied Sciences and Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. In her designs Pystynen is interested in the subliminal and physiological impacts of light. Her greatest inspiration is the special Nordic sky and its wondrous light
