Rayco, an 8-year-old boy, and his sister Paula, 14, kill time as best they can while anxiously awaiting the arrival of Michel Jackson in Tenerife. But her mother has become pregnant by a foreigner and her life could change before the singer arrives on the island.
Canarian filmmaker trained in Madrid and Paris (Audiovisual Communication (UCM) / Master in Film Creation and Management (URJC)). Founder of Tourmalet Films, he has produced feature films such as Stockholm with 3 Goya nominations; short films such as Todo un futuro juntos nominated in 2014; and Ibero-American documentary co-productions such as La selva inflada or Doble Yo premiered at FICCI; and European co-productions such as La última primavera. He has been TV-producer of the documentary series Héroes Invisibles on La2.
As a director, he has premiered the documentaries Paradiso, winner of the Rizoma Award and part of the cycle Un impulso colectivo, and La tempestad calmada, premiered at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, and co-directed the animated short film Los espacios confinados, premiered at Docaviv and Seminci. In 2014 he participated in Iberdoc's Iberlab; in 2017 in Talents at the Berlinale and the Biennale College Cinema in Venice and in 2018 in the Torino Film Lab Up&Coming. His latest projects are the animated short film La prima cosa and his first feature film Matar cangrejos.
