Antonia, a teenage mother, disappears in the middle of the night, leaving her baby behind. Fifty years later, casting director, Carmen meets Antonia, whose impulsiveness will take over her loneliness.
Laura Ferrés (Barcelona, 1989). Graduated in film direction from ESCAC (Spain). Her first project, A perro flaco, was selected at 60 festivals around the world such as Seminci 2014 (Spain) and Montreal World Film Festival 2015 (Canada). Her second short film, Los Desheredados, was premiered at La Semaine de la Critique - Cannes 2017 where it won the Leica Cine Discovery Prize for Best Short Film in Competition. It is screened at several festivals and is even premiered on the film circuit. La imatge permanent is her first feature film, presented at the Locarno Festival. She is currently working on her second feature film.
