Esther Vital is a psychologist, textile artist and filmmaker. Since 2008 she has been promoting the arpilleras, popular tapestries, which in Chile became a unique form of political resistance against the dictatorship. With Cadê Heleny? (2022), her first short film, she brings the arpilleras to life.
