Screenwriter and director, Thibaut Wohlfahrt first drew attention with his graduation film Ciao Bambino which was selected for and awarded at many international festivals. His second film as director was La Traversée, shot on the Rhine river. The film was produced by Frakas Productions and was selected, among others, for the prestigious Clermont Ferrand short film festival. After making several music videos and creating the collective Requin Baleine, which specialises in artistic projects related to the underwater world, Thibaut directed his new film, Brussels-Beirut. Co-written with Lebanese journalist Samir Youssef, this film was shot entirely in Arabic along the Lebanese-Syrian border.
